2010 Palmaris Outer Coastal Plain Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Magnum: limited release, the magnum size ages slower and thus is a more desirable size for long term cellar storage.
The 2010 Outer Coastal Plain growing season was perfect with a very long hot dry summer, excellent ripening and amazing resulting wine quality. We believe that this vintage is even better than the 2007 release which finished in a statistical dead heat with the 2004 Mouton Rothschild, Haut Brion and Montrose at the Judgment in Princeton. This may well be the vintage of the century! This Reserve release is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. This is a stunner with balanced fruit, mid-mouth structure and lingering tannin. The wine was bottled on January 10, 2013.
